Wine Cork Wreaths Are Officially the Best Way to Let The World Know You Love Wine

Wine lovers live a good life — they can celebrate their passion for vino on the reg with red wine brownies and wine bottle crafts. Now, they can even express their love for the drink on their front door thanks to this creative idea.

Wreaths fashioned from leftover wine corks are the funnest way to show your love for the reds, whites, and pinks. These spirited DIY pieces of decor are popping up all over Pinterest, and here’s the best part: They’re both easy and cheap to make at home.

Reflecting your personal style is easy with a blank-canvas material like cork. Pair it with what speaks to you—vintage burlap, elegant pearls, rustic wood, contemporary color—and you’ll be in love.:

To craft one, you’ll need some sort of round base like an embroidery hoop or a foam wreath, and strong glue. This simple tutorial from Tiffany McLean of Living Savvy explains exactly what you’ll need to put one together. “What says ‘welcome to my house’ more than used corks on your front door?” she writes on her blog. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves!

Once you’ve assembled a basic cork-packed wreath, you can then add on seasonal or holiday pieces to give it some extra flair, like fall leaves and gourds in the autumn, red ribbon for Christmas, fresh blooms in the springtime, and so on.

It may — or may not (ahem) — take you awhile to save up enough corks to fashion one of these yourself, but the wait will be well worth it.
